Showdown opens up with Big Match John taking on Jack Haze. Both men had a week off from wrestling but now will open the show, setting the bar for the rest to follow. Jack has looked good since his arrival but finds himself against Big Match John. John is looking to show Jack how it's done in Honor Wrestling as he has with everyone before him. Look for John to use his power while Jack uses his speed in this one.
Former Honor Champion Kevin Hunter returned last week with a bang getting a win against James Williams. Kevin now faces one of the most talked about rookies working for two Los Vegas based wrestling companies. Caleb has shown that he has everything it takes to be a top star in both companies. This match will help further prove that. Caleb doesn't just take on a former Honor Champion, Kevin was one of the more dominant competitors in the ring. Kevin Looks to continue where he left off, but will find that the roster is different and guys like Caleb are a lot tougher. We in management know just how good Kevin is Caleb are and know that this will be a really good matchup for both men.
Rosanna's debut did not disappoint, a victory was what Rosanna was looking for but what the bosses were looking for was to see how good she can be in the ring in front of the Honor crowd rather she had won or lost. Rosanna did so well that she finds herself taking on from her home country of England, The Siren Kate Steele!!! Kate has proven herself in every company she has worked at. It has been no different in honor. Rosanna will say she is ready and we sure hope so as Kate Steele lost her chance at the Honor title in a way that even the Kate Steele haters say, she was screwed. Rosanna may learn what others before her learned the hard way. That is to, stay away from Kate Steele, a pissed Kate is a deadly Kate.
This Champion vs Champion match puts the Hardcore Tag Team Champion Eyesnsane vs Legacy Champion Equinox. Eyesnsane knows what it takes to be a champion in singles action in Honor as he was the first Honor Champion since the Saxon take over. When GM Ernest Jackson was putting his line up together, owner Henry Saxon called Ernest and told him. "I don't care who is booked, however I have a match, a big time match and I want it on this Showdown. I want to see the man with the biggest passion for Hardcore, Legacy Champion Equinox to take on current Hardcore Tag Team Champion Eyesnsane. If Eyesnsane wins this non title match then Eyesnsane will get a shot at the Legacy Championship at Supernova"
The fans, and Alex Jones have been waiting for this match to come. The fans were treated the first time. Mickey Carroll came out on top winning the Honor Championship, becoming the first Triple Crown. Mickey gets his first title defense as Alex gets his rematch. However, the fans now know that this is a championship match and a preview to the 2 out of 3 falls Honor Championship match the two will have at Supernova. It can't get any better then that as there first match is already nominated for Match of the Year 2018 expect this match to be the same!

Hardcore Tag Team title match. Word limit for this match is at 1,250 words. Match choices for the fans to decide from will be, Parking Lot Brawl, Last Team Standing Match, and a Scaffold Match!
Kai Kitiona and Rory Rockefeller may be a odd pairing, a team never working together before. However, the two has shown the wrestling skills they have in singles. With the Hardcore titles always being defended, you will see random teams going for the gold. This week is no different. Eyesnsane and Mrs. Right seem to be the top tag team that no one is talking about. With the Ruins, Kawaii Dragons, and The Three Way in a heated feud it’s easy to see why. However, Eyesnsane and Mrs. Right has defended the titles and have the hottest winning streak in the tag team division currently. That streak gets tested, like always, lose the match, lose the titles!
Honor begins it’s summer vacation program for it’s wrestlers. Champion or not everyone is entitled to some personal time off in the summer to enjoy with their family. This week we start off with giving The Pride Tag Team Champions The Three Way, Blasted Monk, Latoya Hixx, Tatsu Ikeda, Christina Rose and Jessie Salco, will be off until Supernova. Honor wishes them a safe time off no matter how they take their well earned R&R.
NLW will help provide great matches for Honor Wrestling. Drew Masters and Dorian Browne have been great signings to NLW but have not been booked in many matches. The matches they have been booked in were must see matches. They will take on the Fox Brothers. A feud with the Bad Boys has really jump started the rookie brothers. They have looked really good in there matches. Some are saying they are thy team in NLW. The Bad Boys will laugh at such thing.
With NLW booking more tag team matches as of late the Fox Brothers have shined. All four men will have their hands full on what some well say is a even match up by the numbers. expect to see this match up more often as NLW promises that this match being as even as it is will be the match of the night!

Dragon Slayers got a great win over a tag team that has proven they can defeat any team. Sam Shaw and Michael Steele turned a lot of heads last week and plan to do it again? Many think so as they looked to be on the same page from bell to bell. That’s the kind of team work that wins gold. However, Jacob Johnson and Teddy Steele will be the next test for the new tag team. Jacob and Teddy has had better success in tag team matches then in singles matches so it will make for an interesting dynamic as the two team would each other for the first time. We expect Teddy to lead the charge with Jacob since he is a former Pride tag team champion. his time in the tag team division wasn't just with one person so Teddy is used to finding success with different partners.

The Ruin’s… Hold on, let me start over. Debbi and Stacy… Okay wait, I got this, third time's the charm… Kawaii Dragons have woken up not one but two well sounded wrestlers. The Ruins started off slow but have since blossomed as they are no longer being pushovers for the rest of the division. They came close to walking out the Pride Tag Team Champions. It was such a close match that the Ruin’s will get another shot at the Pride Tag Team titles at Supernova.
When you see Delia Darling and Mercedes Vargas as a team you looks at a team no one can beat. A team that Pride GM Jerry Wilcox, feels that no team would ever to to him and request a match with… Well expect the Kawaii Dragon, Jerry knows those two think they are the best in the company. So Jerry was shocked when the Ruin sisters didn’t request but demanded a tag team match against them.
Was this a mistake on the Ruin Sisters? We don’t know. What we do know is that Mercedes and Delia seem to have taken the 2017 Rookie Of The Year winners Tatsu and Winter under there wing. Now the Ruin’s want to take out their frustrations on the two that the Kawaii Dragons look up to! Expect to see one hell of a show this week ending with this blockbuster of a match!
